why is it

that i only really form an appreciation for a bottle of scotch once i'm near the end of it?

i got to love my mackillop's choice caol ila when i had 3 glasses left.

now i'm digging the talisker 175, and i've only 1-2 glasses left, prior to that i didn't care for it.

tonight i'm really getting the brine, which i'd never ever gotten before, and which is kinda the point of any talisker.
