shirt
last night at the climbing gym, i saw a guy with a shirt that said, in monotype font:
emacs > vi
i told him that those were fighting words. he thought i was commenting on his girlfriend's belay technique, but when he realized what i was talking about, he said that he's from north carolina where nobody gets the shirt, but when he visits the valley, he gets lots of comments.
har!

also, it had the GNU gnu on the back, which probably baffles people outside of the silicon valley, too.

Har, har also. If the mark you ask for(non-spammer proof) is truly my mark, why does it have to be an x? Is the gnu on the back the one whose father should paddle his own gnu?
