the internet is changing what cops can get away with.
if not for cell phones and youtube, nobody would have believed the cyclist (critical mass douchebag though he may be).
big brother is far, far ahead of us in the surveillance game -- and since it doesn't make us safer, what's the point? well, there's always fundraising. don't forget, of course, that surveillance should be left to the pros, for obvious reasons.
i'll try to stay on the viewing end of things, but i sure hope if this sort of thing ever happens to me, someone with a cell phone video posts it on youtube. curiously enough, this magnificent interweb of ours can be used just as well for reclaiming civil rights as it can for porn.
okay, yeah, it's better for porn than civil rights.
