god damn, this world is full of stupid, stupid people
some chowederhead on npr, defending pres. bush: it's just like chamberlain and hitler, everyone wants to try diplomacy, and then comes the blitz.
that's right, muslim hordes strapped with backpack nukes are hiding just around the corner waiting to invade poland and spread at lightning speed throughout the continental US. only our invasion of Iraq and non-discovery of WMDs has kept them at bay.

usually the comments of stupid people bounce off my thick hide and cause me no tsurris. but i think i've been having enough of it lately, i'm starting to care that there are people out there that think, as the called in question did, that pres. bush is the greatest president we've had since lincoln.

Lincoln was a horrible president.
He fought a war to change a culture vastly different from his own which resulted tremendous loss of life, spiraling economic problems and sectarian violence which lasts even today. And like many other politicians, changed the goal of the war after it started.
The end result , expanding the power and control of the Federal Government, achieved.
But at least he's no Jimmy Carter!
