as i was entering the Nth minute of grinding up a fargen steep, unpleasant hill, i thought to myself:
hey, i'm a deadlifter: i do sets of five and call it quits.
what the heck is this "extended exercise" crap?
...
then i stopped to catch my breath and continued up. 25.5 miles total, 80rpm ave. cadence, 15mph ave speed. some gnarly hills but a lot of flats.
i have declared that i am no longer a weight lifter who runs, i'm now a deadlifter who bikes.
and brews.
none of which complement any of the others.
